The Gold Standard in Hand Rehabilitation
Certified Hand Therapy
A licensed occupational or physical therapist is required to complete at least three years of clinical experience, accumulate 4,000 hours of hand and upper extremity therapy practice, and pass the Hand Therapy Certification Exam to demonstrate proficiency in advanced rehabilitation techniques.
CHTs are specialists in rehabilitating individuals recovering from hand and upper extremity surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. With extensive training in anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic techniques, Certified Hand Therapists develop tailored treatment plans that restore strength, mobility, and function.
